William Mitchell is a nationally touring stage hypnotist and respected clinical hypnotherapist who has performed over 1,000 clean comedy hypnosis shows across the U.S. Known for his captivating, audience-safe style, William brings joy, laughter, and unforgettable experiences to events of all kinds—from college campuses to corporate retreats to state fairs.
He is a Certified Instructor with the National Guild of Hypnotists, and a former adjunct faculty member at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where he served on the Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Panel.

For over 23 years, William served as the Clinical Director of Personal Motivation Hypnosis Clinic in Springfield, Illinois, where he helped thousands overcome challenges like smoking, weight struggles, and fears. Today, he continues to impact lives as the Senior Minister at First Christian Church (DOC) in Atchison, Kansas.
With a Bachelor of Arts from Culver-Stockton College and a Master of Divinity earned through graduate studies at Texas Christian University and Phillips Theological Seminary, William blends his pastoral foundation with deep expertise in hypnotherapy and performance.
On stage, William delivers 50–70 clean, family-friendly shows per year—always treating his volunteers with dignity, encouragement, and safety. His unique background as a pastor, clinical hypnotherapist, and award-winning entertainer makes him a rare and trusted presence in the world of stage hypnosis.
